You cannot get too much cool Italian thrash metal. Just ask ADVERSOR. This is old school cool. Anders Ekdahl ©2018

When you look back and see how far you have come what do you think of this crazy journey so far and where the heck will it take us?
D: I’m pretty satisfied on what we made it until now,but for sure we have big plans for the future. New albums,tours..

I often wonder how people discover that they can do what they do. How did you discover that you can sing and play instruments?
D: Was back in 2006. I said “fuck, what Mustaine etc are doing is great!”,so I simply tried to make the same things during rehearsal with my band back then. Seems it worked!

When did it become a revelation that you can do this and maybe get paid for having fun, instead of just putting out all the money?
D: No money man.

When you spend an amount of your life on a band does it ever feel like you have wasted time, that you have fought one too many windmills?
D: No at all but depends on the band. You can get in a band that has great members and you can do great stuff, but you can also be in a band that creates good music but has bad people. In that case you’re basically fucked and yes, your time is almost wasted.

No matter how small or big you were as a band you will leave a legacy behind you. How do you want people to treat this legacy?
D: I just hope that people will remind us as a good band and that I can reach as many poeople I can with my messages.

Is digital taking away the mystery of waiting for a new album now that you can upload as soon as you have written a song?
D: No.

How important is image in separating you from all the million different styles of metal there is out there?
D: Not much. I do love Thrash metal and in that genre is kinda difficult to being creative, but in our case I think we have some points that can be seen as differences that can mark us as unique.

Do you deal in different topics lyrically or do you keep to one, just using different variations?
D: I do deal with very different topics in my lyrics. Adversor is a concept band so I mostly write about social issues.
In the latest album “The End Of Mankind” you can find themes like the scandal of polluted water in our region (Poisoned Lymph),rape and violence against women (Eternal Damned),the conditions of the young people nowadays (Ignoble Blackmail) and many more stuff.

Do you consider yourself a live artist or do you like to spend most of the time secluded in a studio?
D: Absolutely a live artist!

How much of a touring band are you guys? What memories do you take with you?
D: Oh well,we are touring guys, yes. We did 2 Europeans Tours in 6 months and were amazing! Travelling all across Europe: from Scotland to Belgium, from France to Hungary..
We have a lot of great memories especially for a band like us that self-promotes itself,go 1000 kms away from your home and see people that mosh on your own songs or sing along with you,is something special.

What does the future hold?
D: The future for Adversor is clear: making more gigs, more tour and maybe do a release within the next 2 or 3 years.
