Sometimes my mind does not work the way it should. So when I saw that Mighty had released an album by a band called AGAZE I didn’t reflect upon them being Swedish, even though I somewhere back in the attic of my mind knew of a Swedish band by the same name. Anders Ekdahl ©2016
Could you please introduce us to the band?
-We’ve got Zeb Borg on vocals, Eric Rydén and XIX on guitar, Håkan Strind on drums and last but not leas our latest addition to the band Susanna Salminen on bass.
What has been the greatest catalyst in forming your sound?
-We’re all influenced by different genres. Combined with equal eager to do some music with true attitude created the sound of AGAZE
How hard is it to record and release new songs?
-The hard part today isn’t the possibility of recording new records. It’s getting great quality of the recording combined with somebody financing it. It’s extremely expensive. The same goes for the release of new songs and albums.
Has digital made it easier to get your music released?
-Of course! No doubt about it!
If you release your music digitally is there a risk that you release songs too soon, before you are ready compared to releasing them on cd?

Do you feel like you are a part of a greater community playing in a metal band?
-It’s all an incredibly big dysfunctional family and we love it 😉
What is the live scene like for you? Do you feel that playing live helps building a bigger following?
-Yes! Playing live is the best thing to get the music out there.
What plans do you have for the future?
-Right now we’re planning for upcoming tours, kicking the release of the album and together with that we’ve already started to write some songs for the next album.
