How different is it releasing an album compared to a demo where there were no real pressure?.
-Well, actually for us there was no pressure difference between the demo and our ep. Both were produced independently, to our time and the way that our pocket allowed. We count in both cases with the help of friends and fortunately everything worked out.
. What response did you get on your first album? What was the weirdest response you got?
-We had many positive reviews regarding the creation of the songs and how quickly everything was done. Some constructive criticism regarding the improvement points in the production and recording. The strangest response was from a friend said we could join Discharge, Voivod and Running Wild in the same sound. Particularly that made us very happy. hahaha
When you release an album and you go out and play live and people know your songs, how weird is that? That people know what you have written on your own?
-That for us is very good. The greatest happiness is to know that our sound is actually making people’s heads as to they know our lyrics. It is a truly fantastic feeling. Especially in the underground. Has a lot of good stuff going on, and have recognition in all this is very good.
Do you feel that you have to follow in the foot steps of the first album for a second when it comes to lyrics and art work for example?
-Of course, of course! Anything new to give to add the sound or the ideas will always be very welcome. But our premise is to speed metal with crustpunk and have letters that really take a message to someone.
Do you feel like you are a part of a greater community because you play in a metal band?
-Not only because we play in a metalpunk band, but rather to be part of an entire counterculture movement, playing, producing events, casting disk bands of friends, etc. Being part of this whole process in the underground circuit, really makes us feel integral and summation of that community.
When you have found a sound how hard/easy is it to come up with aongs that fit into the sound?
-This depends largely on the sound. Has music, q ue conseguiomos build completely in just one test. Some others are well suffered therefore the whole music is the right way to run, however simple it may be. We can not give little attention compositions and never give.
What influences/inspires you today?
– Our main influences are always classical bands such as Venom, Voivod, Discharge, Broken Bones, Wolfpack, Anti-Cimex, Running Wild, Tank, Sodom, Warfare, Wiplash, Rattus, Riistetyt, RDP, Taurus, Dorsal Atlantica, among so many other bands.
We hear about what state the record industry is in. Then we hear that cd sales are increasing. As a band that releases records do you notice the state the industry is in?
-As a band we are totally against the music industry at the rate it is, we are totally in favor of the copy left. Thus, people can not afford to buy our stuff can just hear the bandcamp or download these songs. The intention is that the sound really spreads the maximum you give. Thus we have the possibility we played more and more in different places.
What is your opinion on digital verses physical?
– The digital media ends up being more practical for everyday life. Also has a greater range of people. It is quite functional. But nothing better than having the material at hand, see box, having every one ritual that sometimes becomes necesssary to listen to heavy metal. ‘m Very suspect to say because I’m kind of maniac vinyl. hahahahal
What lies in the future?
-Well, we are currently preparing the songs for K7 slit that we do together with our friends from Kurgan band that will be released in April or May. Other than that, we are also already writing songs for our Fulllenght. If all goes well, pretrendemos press this material in Europe and go search it imendando with a tour. This even is already being negotiated. We hope everything right.
