There are so many bands out there that it is impossible to keep track of them all. I try my best to get to know as many new bands as possible. Like EVERYDAY I DIE. Anders Ekdahl ©2016

Could you please introduce the band to us?
-Hi, Ok!
It´s me, Patrick Kohlhaas – Guitars, Programming and Songwriting
Michael Stein – Drums and Claude Ewert – Bass.
This is the Core of the Band.
The vocalist on our first album „Isolation“ is none other than Soilwork frontman
Bjorn `Speed´ Strid.
We´re all very proud to have his excellent voice on the album.

When you form how easy is it to pick up a thread as to where your sound is going??
-Interesting question. Over the years i have so much different influences and like a lot of musicstyles which makes me very creative. On the other hand i must be carefull that i don´t overload the song.
Basically i record some cool Guitar riffs paired with exciting synth sounds.
The recipe is, meaningfulness! Powerfull rhythmns, touching melodies and emotional outbursts such as hate, despair and vengeance.
The mix of it all create our own sound – this is our thread!

How do you explain the meaning of the band name?
-It´s a synonym for „everyday i could die for“ e.g. you. It means your own thing.
Everyone can interpret the name for their own personality.

How important is image to the band? What impression do you want the fans to get of the band?
-The success of the band is influenced by Image!
It would be the greatest if the fans would identify with the lyrics and music of „Everyday I Die“.

I am a huge fan of LP art work. How important is it to have the right art work for your album?
-Oh, it`s very Important! It is the first impression that you have.
When music, lyrics and a thematic artwork give a big picture , it’s perfect for me.
At this point i would like to draw attention to Mattias Norèn (progart.com).

How do you avoid being affected by the hype likes on youtube and facebook can create on social media?
-Nowadays, social media seems like a big part of our life.
Unfortunately not everyone likes everything so you have to expect some dislikes.
However, we do our best 😉

When you play in a band does it feel like you are a part of massive community?
-Of course! It fills every musician with joy and pride.

How important is it to be signed to label today? What can they do
that you cannot do on your own?
-Business advice, professional promotion and marketing, social networking etc.!
They have many contacts. Much more than one of us.

How much of a touring band are you guys? How hard is it to get gigs outside of your borders?
-At the moment no gigs are planned but on everydayidie.com or facebook.com/everydayidie.band you will get informed as soon as possible.

What will the future bring?
An amazing new album, a great Band and a lot of fun!
