When the band came into creation what was the main purpose for it?
-The main purpose is that we all love music in general and we really enjoy writing songs together, either in our rehearsal or in the studio.
How hard is it to come up with a sound that is all yours? What bits’n’pieces do you pick up from other stuff to make it your sound?
-It came naturally, we all come from a different scene. And this influences creating our style.
I have no idea what kind of creative process you guys go through but how hard is it to record and release new songs?
-We spent 1,5 years in the studio, writing and recording “two by eight”. In the same time we get in contact with labels. We decided to do release on our own. It was and still is a very intense Time.
Today technology allows you to record at home and release your music digitally. But in doing so is there a risk that you release only single songs because that is what is demanded to stay atop and therefore you end up killing the album for example?
– I don`t know, for me personally I like albums for shore. But it makes sense to release single songs between Albums. But sooner or later you have to do an Album.
I for one feel that the change in how people listen to music today, by downloading it and expecting to get it for free, will kill music as we know it. What kind of future is there for music?
-I guess that’s the reason why all bands are touring all the time. The bands making money with shows and merchandise. One thing is for shore; music will never die!
What kind of responses do you get to your music? What has been the thing that has gotten the most attention?
-Fifth place in the Swedish Rockalbum charts with our Album “two by eight”. And the peoples and bands we meet on tour, Sepultura,Inflames and Hatesphere.
We live in a world where there are no real distances between people communicating anymore. What has been the most surprising contact so far?
-To meet some amazing peoples on tour. Sepultura, Inflames and Hatesphere are really down to earth humans and amazing musicians. . And all the peoples that we meet at our the shows.
Does playing in a band make you feel like you are a part of a greater community? What has music brought with it that you would have otherwise missed out on?
-Yes it does, we get in Contact with so many peoples cause of music. We all started early to play our instruments. And since I can think I wanted to play in a Band. And so I did.
What is the live scene like for you? Do you feel that playing live helps building a bigger following?
-Of course, playing live is one of the reasons i`m doing this. Nothing better than sharing a stage with four other great peoples and doing what we love.
What plans do you have for the future?
-Some shows are coming up in Switzerland and Germany. And we`re writing new songs and we will hit the studio soon to record new music.
