Ever since their inception in 2014, CORE OF IO have continually strived to create interesting and well-thought out compositions influenced by multi-genres; the foursome have certainly fulfilled this brief, and then some. Described as “Dynamic, intelligent and dripping with hooks”, favourable comparisons have fluctuated from anywhere between Sikth, Fall of Troy, The Mars Volta and Deftones.
No strangers to hard work, the riff masters have toured nationally and on the festival circuit, including recent notable appearances at 2017’s UK-Tech Fest and Mammothfest, whilst constructing an energetic and memorable repertoire of songs. The angular rockers are also currently releasing a cycle of four EPs. The next instalment, Part II: Europa, will be released this December, along with a tour across the UK this Autumn. Without doubt, CORE OF IO will dominate the remainder of this year and beyond.
