Manchester hardcore trio, LEECHED, have debuted the video for new track, By The Factories. The video is viewable now via Kerrang! and the digital single will be on all streaming platforms from tomorrow.  The track is taken from their first full length album titled You Took The Sun When You Left which is heavy with bleak and brutal tracks set atop today’s despairing and desolate industrialised landscape. The album will be released on August 24, 2018 via Prosthetic Records. Pre-order here.

The video was created by Shaun Hodson of Loki Films. The band comments: “The song talks about attitudes towards suicide. Something still greatly misunderstood by a lot of people. The video highlights the violence that thease emotions invoke inside people’s minds. By the Factories is one of the few songs on the full length that explicitly states and tackles an issue of this nature.”

Fresh from a short run of shows with Employed To Serve last month, LEECHED are prepping for a UK tour with Full of Hell leading up to the album release. The band have also just been confirmed alongside Napalm Death, Vader and Entombed AD for Damnation Festival which takes place in Leeds on November 3.

Barely a year after they formed, and with an incessantly intense EP – Nothing Will Grow From The Rotten Ground – already under their belts, LEECHED are taking a fast-paced swipe at the world around them. Bands sharing a distaste for the status quo, or a dissatisfaction for the world around them may not be something new, but few bands are doing it with the vitriol and vehemence that is offered up on You Took The Sun When You Left.

Taking influence from every dark and dingy corner of extreme music, LEECHED may be moving at break-neck speed, but they’re a band who are quickly finding their feet – both in the studio and out on the road.
