PADDY AND THE RATS are celebrating 10-year anniversary with a grand concert tour and a new song. The musicians made a lyric video for the new track, too, featuring the most memorable moments of the 10-year history of the band.
2018 is definitely the most successful year of PADDY AND THE RATS, considering milestones in several aspects for the members of the band: their fifth studioalbum, Riot City Outlaws has released worldwide by Napalm Records, and thanks to the record label they have received even more attention internationally and had more concerts abroad than before. The band also celebrates their 10-year anniversary in 2018 that – despite many efforts – hadn’t been forgotten: at the end of October the musicians started a jubilee tour by visiting the country’s most popular clubs.
„By the middle of December we are going to play 14 gigs in Hungary in order to commemorate the past 10 years with the audience. We also have a surprise for the fans: we would like to thank their loyality with a new song, that will be play at every concerts of the tour” – says Paddy.
The new song ’Drunk and Fucked Up’, by which the musicians attempted to summarize the 10-year history of PADDY AND THE RATS, was played live for the very first time on 31th of October in Kaposvár. By the way this is the only one track that surely will be heard at all concerts of the tour, even though the show is constantly changing. The band’s frontman previously promised: they will play all their songs at least once during the tour.
The song ’Drunk and Fucked Up’ also features a lyric video that is now available on the band’s YouTube channel HERE
After Kaposvár, Pécs, Veszprém, Győr, Kiskunfélegyháza, Eger, Székesfehérvár and Tatabánya PADDY AND THE RATS will perform on 29th of November in Szeged, than they will have concerts in Sopron, Szombathely, Miskolc and Debrecen. The jubilee tour will end in Budapest, with a two-nights supershow at the Barba Negra Music Club. For the double concert the musicians will have two different performances: at the Pirate Night they will play mainly pirate-songs, while the Celtic Night will feature Irish folk punk tracks. Accordingly to the topics the scene of the thematic evenings will be different, guiding the audience into two separate worlds.
