I have no relation whatsoever to 8th Sin. When they first burst onto the scene I stayed well away from them. I kinda knew that they weren’t my kind of band. I might have been wrong but I forgot all about them until this new album dropped in on me. Today I can understand where they are coming from with the success of the likes of Marilyn Manson and Deathstar. But me liking this? That wasn’t on the table when I woke up this morning yet somehow I do like this. There is an industrial feel to this and while it might not be the freshest of ideas it does add to the feel of the album. Perhaps not the most invigorating album I’ve heard all year but still much more of a positive experience that I had imagined. Anders Ekdahl
