If you like your music full of sweet harmonies and sugary melodies you’d be well advised to stay as a far away as possible from Atriarch. This is not music for those of you who walk around with a smile permanently fixated on your face. This is music for those of us who find the darker side of life to be uplifting and positively brimming with exuberant joy. It’s hard to imagine that anybody else would sound like Atriarch but think the doomiest of doom metal crossed with a Neurosis on really bad cough syrup and you might be close to imagine what “Forever The End” sound like. This is the epitome of what doom is. And oh what a relief it is. Anders Ekdahl
