Okay, I have no idea how to pronounce this band’s name. Is it supposed to be Icelandic? Oh it is. Some time you really need some sort of dictionary just to be able to decode a band name, especially if you are dealing with bands from the former Soviet Union. I am still amazed every time I come in touch with an Icelandic band that there are still enough people to play black metal for example. But a country that has produced an artist like Björk really shouldn’t surprise any anymore. AUðN could be described as atmospheric black metal with a touch of dsbm. This is painted with the big melancholic brush. And since I have a weak spot for this kind of black metal I give this a thump up. Anders Ekdahl
