There is no force rawer than Mother Nature. From the harshness of winter to the massive force that the wind carries with it to the vast and endless views that is earth, she watches over us all. So it is no wonder that we see a lot of nature in black metal. If you can’t survive on your own nature will unmercifully swallow you and spit you out again. This Mexican lot has a sound that owes a lot to the Norwegian black metal of the 90s. The one that is very harsh and cold, the one that is basic and back to the roots. There is something about this that appeals to me. I like the cold, harsh sound that they have going for themselves. Anders Ekdahl
