CONCRETE IRON “Perennial Anguish”

“Perennial Anguis”
(Black Vulture)
CONCRETE IRON must be one hell of a massive mass. Iron in itself is pretty durable but CONCRETE IRON… That must have a mass so dense that it won’t break whatever you do to it. Don’t know about the band with the name though. This Finnish lot are as heavy as the winters must be in northern Finland on the border to Russia. I don’t know what it is with the Finnish metal scene but there seem to be at least one band for each genre. CONCRETE IRON can best be described as doomy death metal. No funeral doom or death doom, only some very heavy and slow death metal. I can’t remember the last time I heard a really bad Finnish metal band. It hasn’t happened now either. Anders Ekdahl
