It is easy to think that Edenial is just another female fronted goth metal band but truth be told there is so much more to this Chilean band. My first thought was that they had more in common with French avant garde metal but the more I listened to this album the more this Chilean band brought a thrash vibe to my ears. I can’t say that I remember too much of their previous album but it can’t have been as good as this new one otherwise I would have remebered it. I get a kinda Anacrusis feeling when I listen to this album. While being melodic it still displays a sense of non-conformist rage. The female vocals add to the melodic sensibility without taking anything away from the music. This might very well end up on my top ten album list for 2015. Anders Ekdahl
