FOLIAN is a band that I just discovered thanks to my incredible sloppiness. But since I now have discovered them it can only go up from here. I know very little about them, but I somehow look forward making them my acquaintance. This one turned out to be much more than I had expected. It is a mix of sludge and shoegaze and post metal in one glorious mix. If you like the more subtle kinda stuff, you’ll get a great pleasure out of listening to this. I know I did. I want to say that this reminds me of SUNN O))) but I am not too familiar with that band so I’ll leave that comparison to be. If you do like the sludgy kind of stuff you should check this one out.
