Finnish black metal is not something that I come upon that often. Can’t seem to recall the last time I heard a real black metal band from Finland, not counting Wömit Angel that were more old school. FORLORN CHAMBER might be a young band and this might be their demo but I still have some pretty high hopes on this one. And my hope was quite right. This turned out to be a quite good black metal record. Not so much Norwegian mountains as Finnish dark woods. This is black metal more in the Dawn/Dissection school. Melodic yet aggressive. Metal with an attitude that I quite like and I could see myself listening to a full album without getting bored. Anders Ekdahl
