Blackened doom metal. There is a phrase I haven’t heard before. As a fan of both doom and black the notion of the two being mixed is tantalizing. This could be anything or nothing. Listening to this makes me wonder if it isn’t really doomy black that is the proper tag. Not that tags mean anything really. As long as I like what I hear I don’t really care too much about where I am to place it. And this I like. This is really cool stuff. if you could imagine Bolt Thrower going black you might get an idea of the groove of this. Another band that I come to think of listening to this is Hades Almighty. I really like when if grooves like hell. And this one does that. Anders Ekdahl
