HAIDUK “Demonicon”

I remember that I liked HAIDUK’s previous effort. There was a charm to it that caught my attention. Now that I get the chance to listen to the new album it is with great expectations that I do so. I didn’t expect this and I can’t remember that the previous album was this much instrumental but somehow it doesn’t matter that much when the music is so engaging. You pretty much forget that there isn’t that much growling going on. And that to me is a sign of a strong album. The album isn’t void of vocals. You get your fair share of growls. If you like your death/black metal played at a fast pace then you’ll get a good whipping from this record. Anders Ekdahl
