I’m not going to spew vile over the whole metalcore scene. I’ll just settle for there being a whole lot of crap and that you have to wade through it to find the really cool ones. But that goes for any other genre of metal too. I’ve never been to Reading. Don’t know how boring a place it is but judging from the anger that HER DYING REGRET displays it can’t that fun a place. This is metalcore the way I’ve come to know it lately. But what sets this apart is that you don’t get the break downs that is so preferred amongst the metalcore acts. That allows this album to have a better flow. Perhaps this should be labelled deathcore instead? Whatever it is I found myself liking this. There is a death metal edge to it that triggers my liking.
