MORGUE ORGY has a name that sounds very death metal. As I haven’t heard of this lot before I can just hope that the name is in correlation to the music so that I don’t end up sitting here expecting a great slab of death and instead get a watered down version of metalcore. This is thankfully death metal but I don’t know if it is that melodic. This to me sounds more like a black metal assault really. The way that Nagelfar sounded on their classic album “Vittra”. If I were forced to label this I’d say that this is much more black than it is death even though it has some fancy guitar work. The whole air that surrounds this album is so much more black than it is death that I’m gonna stick to calling this a black metal album. No matter what I label it I like what I hear. Anders Ekdahl
