PANTHER “S/T”

PANTHER

(No Remorse)

Battle Helm Rating

This band started in the 80s in Los Angeles. Played the Troubadou venue and was off to a flying start. But something didn’t go as plan and the band kinda dissolved when singer Jeff Scott Soto left to join Yngwie Malmsteen’s band. But they did manage to record a 6 track EP. This EP. Along with some demo tracks make up this album that Greek No Remorse has rereleased. Despite being recorded in the 80s this is still a really cool piece of US heavy metal. If you love that stuff as much as I do and think that bands like Steeler, Malice and even early Queensryche are the crème de la crème of US heavy metal, you are gonna have a field day with this album. This is bloody great stuff. The production is dated but the songs are not. This is totally eternal stuff. Anders Ekdahl
