Greek hardrock/metal usually is of a pretty high standard. I can name a handful of great bands just like that. Phase Reverse might be added to that category if they keep it up like this. I am a big fan of Soundgarden and that was the first band that hit me while listening to Phase Reverse. They have the same heaviness as Soundgarden had without compromising the melodies. This is heavy hardrock done in a certain 90s style that isn’t grunge. Taking from the history of hardrock/metal Phase Reverse succeed in making something somewhat of their own with it. A pretty mean feat by anybody’s standards. I like that you can hear traces of different eras in their music. That makes for an interesting listening. It’s like getting served all you like at once and it’s an eat all you can table. Anders Ekdahl
