ROB MANCINI “Rock’N’Roll Circus”

“Rock’N’Roll Circus”
(GMG Records)
Somehow Rob Mancini’s name sound so familiar yet I’m sure I’ve never ever heard anything he’s done prior to receiving album. This is being described as a cross between Bon Jovi and Nickelback. One I like, the other I turn of whenever I hear it. As long as I’m only reminded of bon Jovi I’m happy as a kid at Christmas. I have a special place for the more melodic side of hardrock in my book. Whenever I hear an album like that I light up like a reindeer. “Rock’N’Roll Circus” is smack full of melodies, to the point where it hurts my ears after a full album. Not that I’m complaining. I am rather resilient. This is hardrock I can listen to in my car, at work or just when I’m home relaxing. Music for every possible and perhaps impossible moment of life. This made me happy and in a positive mode for the rest of the day. I might even find myself humming one or two songs as the day passes on. Anders Ekdahl
