This lot sounds like they could be the most symphonic metal outfit to come around this year. At least that is what I hope for. It would be really cool to have this one be a massive bombastic metal album. One that could be played at your funeral as a grand celebration of your life. How many album filled with great vocalist can we be subjected to before it starts to become a bore? A hell of a lot if you ask me. When a track reminds you of Yngwie Malmsteen you kinda know that this is going to be a hell of an album. Say what you like about Mr. Malmsteen but he’s written some really cool metal songs. SIGNUM REGIS might have a strong line-up of vocalists but no matter how good they are they would have fallen flat on their faces if the music hadn’t been as cool as it is. Anders Ekdahl
