SIRGUAS “Sofia’s Forgotten Violin”

“Sofia’s Forgotten Violin”
SIRGUAS are a blank to me (as most bands seem to be) but I get a feeling that this could very well end up being another great Italian symphonic goth metal band. I love female fronted goth metal bands and I’m always looking forward to hearing more so it is with some excitement that I take this one on. I thought this was going to be much more dramatic than it actually is. Not that I’m complaining. I like what I hear. There is still plenty of good stuff to get hooked on. I like the somber too. Not everything gothic metal has to be totally OTT. At times it is almost like a King Diamond album gone soft(er). If you close your eyes you can see a movie being played on the inside of your eyelids. I had a great time in the company of this album and I’m looking forward to returning to it over and over again.
