Battle Helm Rating

Being described as contemporary metal doesn’t really say too much about the music you play. Modern metal doesn’t really help either, but it there that you find THE BROKEN HORIZON. Somewhere between seats. This is not melodic death metal. It isn’t really metalcore. And it isn’t thrash metal. It is all of the above mixed together to form some sort of cohesive mass. I have promised myself to be positive about this kind of metal and instead of looking for the wrongs find the rights about it. My main objection towards modern metalcore has been that there is way too much vocals. I feel the same way about this. Less vocals and more instrumental breaks would have been more up my alley. Other than that this is good enough for me. Anders Ekdahl
